After seeing all this terrible news about the PS3 and seeing the PS3's terrible line-up of games I'm not sure if I'm getting one until something worthwhile comes out such as Devil May Cry 4 or Kingdom Hearts 3 (which are the 2 games I need to play the first day they come out!). Will you be getting a PS3 at launch?
well if you need to play the first day they come out and you have the money to buy a ps3 and 2 game sure go a head

As much as I talk down the PS3, I'll probably get one if the price comes down enough...
I mean, I did that with the Xbox... I didn't get one untill 2004... Even though I regret that...
If the PS3 ever makes it down to $200-$300, I might get one...
i was going to get one, but after e3 i bought a 360... and after that all i hear is bad news... so im glad i didnt waste my time waiting all summer, and all fall for it.

BTW i liked Sony's E3 more then MS's one. I learned about some cool new PS3 stuff while i only learned about stranglehold for the 360.

You stand in line. There are BB employees everywhere. You get you voucher and leave for an hour. Come back and stand in line(inside the store) until you get your console. Buy it and leave, having a car right next to the door. There are still security gaurds at bb. So i only have like 3 feet to get it stolen.Zitat:

Insteading of buying a PS3.. buy a 7900GTX and you can play all the PC games ever made + you can play emulators of every console made so far (except 360) bam + you can get free games if you into that kidn of thing.

The XBOX360 hasn't seen many great games so far, Lost Planet and Oblivion are the best I've seen, and the only good game I can see in it's future is Halo 3.
I am / was a hardcore PC gamer. I still play things that my PC will run (not too much now, 2000+ amd with a gig or ram and a 9600). The thing is a console and pc gaming experience is completely different. Pc gaming is a loner activity, you sit in a room/corner by yourself, hunched over at your PC playing games...and spending 1000's a year on upgrades....I prefer to sit on a couch with my girlfriend beside me and buddies gathered around, having beers and good times, and not killing my back in the process :P
The abundance of free games on PC ALMOST makes up for the fact you have to upgrade all the time....oh and nothing beats watching movies on the TV in 5.1...I can't imagine people that sit in front of their PC to watch vids....little kids in their bedrooms I guess....

Unamed Naughty Dog = A Named game called farcry
Cipher complex = Looks like it could be promising, although I can also say = to splinter cel.
resistance fall of man = looks like a VERY uninspired shooter...space marines defending the world against gangly aliens ! how original !!
Now I can do the same thing with almost all 360 titles, so don't get me wrong...very little is doing anything original nowadays....so if i'm gonna play ****ty games, i'm gonna do it on the system that's cheapest :P ;)

you can have all the movies and formats you want with a 360. just get MC pc, put it on your network, and bam!!! 500gb hdd for your 360 with dvr capiblities and a crapload of formats if you run the vlc plugin. plus you can watch tv from your 360 and record what you want. you will have 2 things then... a kickass pc and a kickass console.
Too human doesn't look as good as Heavenly Sword. All the movies in too human are exactly same. Someone should watch the XBL montage carefully. Also Too Human graphics are worse. You dont even see any Too Human gameplay except him doing to exact same move like 4 times.Zitat:

MGS4 isnt the same kind of game as Splinter Cell. There both Stealth but complelely different. SC you have to run behind everyone and kill them. MGS you can actully shoot them from a while away. Thats a bried discription of the difference in gameplay.
FF13 - You cant make up an arguement you so you try to diss the ppl playing it.
Monster Hunter 3 - The only game close to MH is PSO. It is not generic.
Assasin's Creed - right now it is
eight days - just like Saints Row is also a gta clone and crackdown is as well except you can jump on walls
resistance fall of man - Prey how original it that game. guy has to save earth from aliens

Eh, I don't play FF either, but FF13 Versus (not FF13) is being done by the same guy who did Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. It is supposedly more fast-paced and has actual action instead of all those random gay battles with the freaking attack the monster in one turn and wait for it to attack you battles.Zitat:

And I never said anything great about saints row, it blows too, quit assuming i'm defending 360 here, i'm just thinking critically...oh and I guess you never used the rifle + scope in SC ? I rarely snuck up on people unless I was severley outgunned...

I missed that...i've been playing video games for 17 years, which I'll bet a very large amount of money is as long if not longer then you've been alive...I called halo's success when it was still being developed for the PC...i'm a pretty good judge of video games, just trust me on this one youngen...
